Find inspiration, save money, and find inner peace by travelling.

What do Steve Jobs and Richard Branson have in common? Their Billion Dollar Companies have stemmed from Travelling!

While it’s no surprise that great ideas can stem from travelling, we’ll uncover 7 different reasons how travelling can make you a millionaire and beyond.

1. Personal growth and self-discovery by travelling

Travelling can help you learn more about yourself and your strengths and weaknesses. It can also help you gain a new perspective on the world and your place in it.

2. Cultural enrichment

Travelling allows you to immerse yourself in different cultures and learn about their customs, traditions, and ways of life. This can broaden your understanding and appreciation of diversity.

Oftentimes, we can also get a better perspective on our life by surrounding ourselves with different cultures.

You’ll see people living with less than half of what you have but are ten times happier than you.

A lot of peace and fulfilment means appreciating and truly being grateful for what you have already. Materialism is a western focus. Take a step back and get into other cultures!

3. Improved mental health:

Travelling can be a great way to de-stress and recharge. It also provides an opportunity to engage in enjoyable and fulfilling activities, which can contribute to overall mental well-being.

4. Physical health benefits:

Travelling can involve engaging in physical activities such as hiking, swimming, or cycling, which can have positive effects on physical health and fitness.

Most countries have a focus on long-term health. Walking and riding a bike is more common as most cultures are not in as big of a rush as western society.

Not to mention fast food restaurants are not as common internationally since the focus is mostly on naturally sourced food.

This means the food you buy at the stores and restaurants will resemble what It should actually taste like instead of factory-produced foods that contain dozens of hard-to-pronounce chemicals.

Travelling can be a great learning opportunity, as it allows you to visit new places and learn about their history, culture, and natural environment.

When you surround yourself with new experiences, your perspective shifts.

Therefore, by changing the way you view the world, you solve problems differently which ties back to becoming a millionaire. Some of the best ideas come from travelling and learning new things.

6. Travelling Improves relationships:

Travelling with friends or loved ones can help strengthen bonds and deepen relationships. It can also provide an opportunity to make new connections with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Humans thrive with deep connections. By surrounding yourself with other people who are fun to be around, you’re more energized and in a better mood. Good ideas stem from being in a better mood.

Two things that make frequent travel actually pencil out: booking flights through a site like CheapOair when I’m chasing the lowest fare, and putting travel spend on a card built for it — Chase Sapphire Preferred is the one I’d point a frequent traveler to first.
